Foreword to the Special Section on the 23rd ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology 2017

This special section presents extended versions of two of the best papers from the 23rd ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST 2017), which took place from November 8 to 10 in Gothenburg, Sweden. ACM VRST in an international forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge for VR/AR researchers, developers, and practitioners. VRST 2017 was sponsored by ACM SIGCHI and ACM SIGGRAPH.
